Dowry SS 25 : Tradition and Sustainability Interwined
Edis Pala UNTOLD: Upcycled Healing FW 25
Pala unveiled his latest collection, UNTOLD: Upcycled Healing. Inspired by Nestinarstvo, Bulgaria’s sacred fire-dancing ritual, the collection symbolized resilience and renewal. UNTOLD was more than a fashion showcase; it was a profound exploration of emotional healing, dedicated to those who have risen from adversity.
Each design told a story of struggle and empowerment, embracing a dystopian aesthetic interwoven with themes of triumph. Sustainability lay at the heart of the collection, featuring:
Upcycled Knitting : Reworked black-and-white knits, transformed through intricate textile manipulation.
Upcycled Denim : Vintage gray denim adorned with prints from century-old Bulgarian table covers and curtains.
